Expanded Polystyrene has outstanding thermal and protective properties.

It has a very low rate of thermal conductivity, which ensures the produce inside the box can be kept at a stable temperature regardless of outside conditions.

It is an excellent cushioning material, protecting fragile produce from shock and vibration.

EPS is lightweight, odourless and non-toxic. In short, it is the perfect choice for temperature sensitive goods.

What are they?

Our new range of Deluxe Thermo EPP boxes are designed to be reusable even after transportation. Manufactured in the UK from expanded polypropylene (EPP) the boxes offer the same unbeatable insulation and lightweight qualities as our EPS range but the material is more heavy duty meaning the boxes can be reused over and over again.

All of our box range offers recessed ergonomic handles for easy box movement, tight lids and stackable rims for easy storage and maximised space.

What is EPP?

Expanded polypropylene (EPP) is from the same material family as our expanded polystyrene (EPS) boxes. An expanded foam, EPP goes under the trading name of ARPRO® which is commonly used in the automotive industry for impact protection, seating inserts, crash helmets and baby seats.

EPP offers excellent insulation qualities like EPS, is extremely lightweight but is significantly more durable and robust than EPS giving it a longer life. It is;

• fully washable
• non-toxic
• hygienic
• food safe
• does not harbour germs
• frequently used in infection sensitive environments
